JFC Greasby End of Season Presentation

Our end of season presentation will be held on Saturday 6th June at The Poulton Victoria Social Club, Wallasey. As the club is growing season upon season we have had to change the format slightly this year. We will no longer have a break mid way through the presentation for a buffet, you are more than welcome to bring along a few nibbles for your team should you wish to do so. The day will be split into two sessions morning and afternoon, the age groups will be as follows:

10am to approx. 12.30pm – Under 6, Under 7, Under 8, Under 9, Under 10 Blacks & Under 10 Blues

1.30pm to approx. 5pm  – Under 10 Whites, Under 10 Reds, Under 11, Under 12, Under 13, Under 14

As always there will be one of our famous Greasby raffles at the end of both sessions, any donations would be gratefully received.

Pwllheli Tournament Final Information

We have received the following information from ESFF (the tournament organiser). Details of pitch location, rules, code of conduct and tournament format can be viewed on the below attachments.

We have also been advised that you can arrive at the site from 12 noon, keys will be available from your rep from approximately 4pm. Caravans will need to be vacated by 10am but you can stay and enjoy the site facilities until 12 noon.

Team registration and welcome meeting for all managers will be held in the BONGA WONGA Friday evening at 8pm.

The presentation ceremony will be held on Sunday evening in the BONGA WONGA – you must be wearing your wrist band to gain entry. The presentation will be split into two groups as follows:

5.00pm (doors open at 4.30pm)

U7, U8, U9, U11

6.45pm (doors open at 6.30pm)

U10, U12, U13, U14

Pwllheli Information for Parents

The Pwllheli tournament is nearly upon us so thought we would just pop some information on here before we go.

Date: Friday 1st May to Monday 4th May

Address:  Hafan y Môr Holiday Park,  Pwllheli,  Gwynedd,  North Wales,  LL53 6HJ.

Key Collection: Keys will not be given out directly to parents from Haven or from ESFF – Please do not try and check in yourself. All keys for all JFC Greasby caravans will be given to Ian Webster. Each team will have a representative who will collect their teams keys. All other families will have to contact their rep for their keys – your manager will pass on contact numbers. Reps are as follows (and will be updated when advised)

Under 7’s – Tony Lowery

Under 8’s – Lyn Norris

Under 9’s – Dan Jones

Under 10’s Reds – Neil Parry

Under 10’s Whites – Keith Seymour

Under 10’s Blues – Rich Walsh

Under 11’s – Nick or Dave

Under 12’s – Rob Davies

For those who have already been to an ESFF tournament the format should be exactly the same as last year.

If this is your first time (you are in for a treat!!)  then the football will be played off site on Saturday and Sunday (your managers will text you the address of the pitches after he has attended the managers meeting on Friday evening). On Sunday evening there will be a celebrity presentation on site, again your manager will text you all the information. Please remember kits, shin pads and boots for your players. There are facilities at the pitches (toilets, tuck shop, food vans) but some of us bring picnics if we are there over the lunch time. Chairs or picnic blankets are handy as there can be a lot of waiting round. Finally, hopefully the sun will shine but just in case it doesn’t please wrap up warm – the pitches are very open and can be very windy!

FIXTURES HAVE NOW BEEN PUBLISHED. If you wish to look at them before you go please go to the ESFF website www.footballfestivals.co.uk. You can also download the ESF score centre onto your mobile to keep up to date with all the games!
